Life is a journey, not a destination!
Hello everyone,
It has been a while since the last post, but as some of you already know there is a reason behind it.
The Weathersfield Inn is under new ownership.
Yes, my family and I have been blessed with the opportunity to take over this very special place!
We would like to thank Richard and Marilee and every innkeeper before them for taking care of this beautiful property. Every single one of them left a memorable trace and we can feel that in every little corner.
It is a great honor, but a great responsibility as well, to continue the legacy and built on top of that.
What can you expect from us?
What we are promising is that we will pour our hearts and souls to making The Inn at Weathersfield and
“The Hidden Kitchen” restaurant a unique landmark destination.
With our extensive experience in Hospitality Management and food & beverage we will bring our vision and ideas for specialty events like weddings, wine tastings, farm and garden dinners, local food events, music by the fire etc.
Farm to table seasonal a la carte menu and craft cocktail program is something we insist on having.
Live music every Thursday (possibly adding another day)
We are open Wednesday to Sunday from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM in Fall season, Thursday to Saturday for Summer and Friday to Sunday for winter dinner service respectively. At the moment we still have some limited availability for Thanksgiving dinner and we are now working on winter season menus, wine tasting dinners and holiday specials.
Our goal is to create memories together! You and us, together!
Local friendly, family friendly, visitors from around the world and all walks of life, our doors are wide open.
Feel free to reach out with any questions and suggestions.
Lots of love from our family to yours
Petar and Greta, Richel and Ivan

Huge congratulations to your family on taking over such a special property! It is lovely to hear how much respect you have for the innkeepers who came before you and the legacy they built. Your vision for The Inn at Weathersfield sounds fantastic—the combination of a farm-to-table seasonal menu and live music by the fire really creates that welcoming, landmark destination feel. I recently read an article on https://englandderbyshire.co.uk/ about the importance of family-run hospitality in creating authentic travel experiences, and your new chapter seems perfectly aligned with that. Looking forward to seeing how "The Hidden Kitchen" evolves under your care!
