Dear Thomas,
Last night, I explored my new travel mate, poking here and there, trying to learn his language. But by bedtime, my head was spinning.
I realized I’ve been with Apple so long. I didn’t figure it would be so challenging to learn to click here, not there, swipe this way,not that.
Do you know what I’m saying? Do you have any idea?
I spoke Apple for so long, swore by Apple and dreamed in Apple. But over the last six months, she became too old and was considered not worthy of a makeover. Everyone looked at her like she was scrap metal.
“She’s so heavy.”
“So slow.”
Richard was the one to suggest I make the switch, “before it was too late,” he said.
I know, people make changes like this all the time. It’s just that she was part of my life before we bought your house. She listened and recorded all the tales, both good and bad.
I’ll be fine. Give me a couple days. Maybe a week or a month. I swear I’ll be nice to my new partner.
Until next time, your house’s faithful caretaker,
Marilee
