Shepherd's Hill
Farm One of our lamb suppliers, also producing honey and wool. They are dedicated to producing high quality meat using sustainable agricultural methods . Raised on grass (with a stunning view of the Ottauquechee River Valley) without synthetic fertilizers, chemicals or antibiotics - the lamb is truly clean, healthy and delicious. |
Black
Watch Ranch Black Watch Farm's natural beef and pork comes from animals born and raised right here in Weathersfield. All the animals are grown without hormonal implants, digestive stimulants and are all grass fed. They are finished on steamed corn. They also supply us with our breakfast sausage. The Black Watch Burger in Lucy's Tavern is by far the best burger in town. |

Lazy Lady Cheeses Laini Fondiller has created a number of proprietary cheese varieties since 1993. Giving them names like Capriola, Valencay, Marbarella, and her biggest seller, La Petite Tomme among others. Names, she says, she comes up with in her sleep. It's no wonder, she's dreaming about making cheese. Four times a day, seven days a week she works up a five-pound batch of cheese in her five-gallon vat. |
Cobb Hill Cheeses These cheeses are produced at Cedar Mountain, a mixed farming enterprise owned and operated by Stephen Leslie and Kerry Gawalt. they produce raw milk and organically grown vegetables and flowers for local markets and their CSA ("Community Supported Agriculture"). Cobb Hill Cheese is manufactured entirely with milk from Cedar Mountain's herd of about fifteen Jersey cows. |

Coger Sugarhouse Gardens Primarily a nursey, Cogers provide us with freshly cut herbs throughout the season. Mike and Gayle also provide the flowers that grace our dining room tables. Their nursery is a source of excellent plant material. Their 'farmers wisdom' has been a huge help as we get our own herb and vegetable garden going in our old paddock. |
Cherry Hill Farms Just down the road from us, right in Springfield. Cherry Hill provides us with berries all summer. Blueberries, currants, raspberries and blackberries are all hand picked daily for our kitchen.. |
Check back on this page for more information on our farmer partners.
