About More than a basic bed and breakfast, the historic Inn at Weathersfield has become a foodies’ destination known for its rustic decor, farm-to-table cuisine and on-site cooking classroom studio, The Hidden Kitchen. Culinary weekends led by cookbook authors, chefs and culinary experts are open to both inn guests and the general public.

Location Conveniently located in Southeastern Vermont, the inn is approximately 20 minutes from Ludlow/Okemo Mountain and 20 miles from Woodstock and minutes from four season outdoor activities, antiquing, and our local farm partners. By car, it’s 4 1/2 hours from New York City and 2½ hours from Boston.

Setting Set in a wooded clearing on nearly 21-acres, the property boasts a large outdoor deck and stone fire pit, a peaceful pond, vegetable/fruit/herb garden, hidden amphitheater for weddings and events, a walking trail through the woods, and a separate studio used for cooking classes and business offsite meetings.

Lodging There are 12 guest rooms each with either a queen or king bed, a private bath, and most with fireplaces and spa tubs. The inn uses fine linens, plush towels and each room has terry robes, bath amenities, flat screen TV, a DVD player, free WiFi, and telephone. A full breakfast (for two) and afternoon refreshments are included in the room rate.

Dining The inn offers an a la carte, a nightly pre-set tasting and small tavern menu in the tavern. We use only the freshest local ingredients gathered from our on-site garden and from key farm partners. We do not use any processed food.
